The fairy you see here is our local interior designer Annette Curtain
This fairy abode is famous, in the Warkworth fairy realm, for its early festive exhibition of Winter Solstice decorations. The owner of the house made no excuses for the display but issued the following statement "If we don't promote fairy lights then we do a great disservice to both our artists and our culture."
I have included this door in this study because of its elegant design however the current owner of the property has asked me not to make any reference to the location
Supernatural events are much more common in the fairy environment than in the human realm. The most common of these ghostly apparitions is the " Spectral Door " a portal to and from the fairy spirit world.
Upon the door a flower was fashioned from burnished ice for it was here that the ice maiden languished. The Winter Solstice had brought forth a biting chill to the crystal air yet still, half frozen, they waited like prisoners shackled to the diluted sunlight.
Beneath the copper beech tree the entrance is flanked by two massive stone pillars. It is here that you should wait to be summoned by the guardian of the fairy realm. Entry is only granted to a chosen few and it is important to note that photography beyond the entrance steps is strictly forbidden.
